Warranty Policy

SodaStream warrants to the original purchaser that new are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase and refurbished machines are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of fourty-five (45) days from the date of original purchase . SodaStream's obligation under this warranty is expressly limited to repairing or replacing any product which SodaStream determines contains a defect in materials or workmanship at the time of purchase.

For a warranty claim to be valid, you must provide a proof of purchase (receipt or bank statement) with a purchase date clearly stated. You must also provide a detailed explanation of the malfunction in no event later than the last day of the warranty period. On receipt of the machine, SodaStream will, as soon as reasonably practicable, repair the defect identified by the explanation or replace the unit.

Dependent upon the reason of your claim, SodaStream may require along with your machine, the CO2 cylinder and/or the carbonating bottle. If you are uncertain which items need to be returned, please contact customer service at 1-877-436-5866.

This warranty does not cover: malfunction, defect, failure, or damage (i) caused by or resulting from impact, mishandling, tampering, or use contrary to the applicable instruction manual; (ii) caused by use of a non-authorized cylinder or bottle. SodaStream warrants the safety only of SodaStream cylinder refilled by it, bearing a SodaStream safety seal on the valve. Should the cylinders be refilled by a different company, and resold with the original SodaStream sleeve, it is not clear if the retailer or refilling station has obtained the necessary safety approval required by law maintained the proper safety precautions. Thus, only buy SodaStream cylinders from an authorized reseller. All risk and liability potentially arising therefrom becomes yours and the unauthorized retailers' alone.
